Effective 28 September 2026

Fair terms for everyday retail.

These terms govern use of ShopLite by merchants and their authorised staff.

Using ShopLite

You must provide accurate account information, protect login credentials, assign staff roles carefully and use ShopLite only for lawful business activity. The store owner is responsible for prices, taxes, stock counts and customer-facing records.

Password-reset links expire after 30 minutes, work once, and a new request supersedes every earlier unused link. A successful reset revokes all existing ShopLite sessions. Keep reset links private and use only the newest link delivered to the account email.

Trials, subscriptions and payments

ShopLite provides a 90-day free trial. No payment is required to start the trial, and ShopLite does not make an automatic first charge when the trial ends. To continue after the trial, the merchant must choose a plan and complete its payment. Direct Android subscriptions are offered through Paystack at ₦5,000.00 monthly, ₦15,000.00 quarterly, ₦30,000.00 half-yearly or ₦60,000.00 annually per active user, plus 7.5% VAT shown before checkout. Store-specific payment terms may apply to versions distributed by an app marketplace. Refunds, reversals, renewals and settlement timing remain subject to the selected provider and applicable law.

Offline operation and synchronisation

ShopLite can record authorised sales offline and synchronise them later. An offline sale is treated as completed only after its complete pending receipt is written to device storage and verified by reading it back. If that persistence check fails, ShopLite does not clear the basket or present the sale as completed, so the merchant can resolve the storage problem and retry. Merchants should reconnect regularly, review the pending queue, investigate conflicts and keep encrypted backups.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, bypass security controls, access another store, upload malicious material, reverse-engineer protected services or use ShopLite to facilitate fraud.

Availability and liability

We work to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted networks, provider systems or third-party hardware. To the extent allowed by law, Notify-IC is not responsible for indirect losses or merchant decisions based on incorrect source data supplied to the app.

Termination and contact

We may suspend abusive or unlawful use. You may cancel as described in the app or store. Questions can be sent to legal@shoplite.africa.
